The redesign project aimed to transform the platform into a user-friendly, visually engaging website that caters to both free and premium users. Web AppThe original ChompDollar website faced challenges with usability, navigation, and overall design consistency. The cluttered interface made it difficult for users to engage effectively with the platform’s features. Free users lacked a clear upgrade path to premium accounts, and the website design failed to convey a professional and modern brand image. Additionally, new pages and functionalities were needed to provide users with enhanced tools and insights, improving both engagement and satisfaction.
The redesign focused on creating a clean, intuitive layout that prioritized simplicity and ease of use. Navigation was streamlined, and new features like the dashboard, live feed, and strategy guides were introduced to meet user needs. Free users were provided with clear prompts encouraging upgrades, while premium users enjoyed full access to enhanced tools. A cohesive design language was established, incorporating consistent typography, a professional color palette, and modular layouts to ensure scalability and usability.
The client envisioned a platform that was professional, modern, and accessible to traders of all experience levels. They emphasized the importance of a clean and engaging interface that clearly communicated key information and encouraged user interaction. The logo, provided by the client, embodies the dynamic and bold essence of ChompDollar. Featuring a fierce shark intertwined with a dollar symbol, it conveys strength, determination, and financial prowess. The design reflects the platform's mission to empower traders to navigate the market confidently and achieve success, with the shark symbolizing dominance and precision in the financial world.
The platform uses Plus Jakarta Sans, a clean and modern font that ensures readability and consistency across all devices. This versatile typeface enhances the platform's professional appearance while maintaining a user-friendly aesthetic for both large headings and smaller text elements.
The color palette for ChompDollar strikes a balance between professionalism and vibrancy. The primary color, a refreshing teal (#1BA8AA), represents trust, energy, and growth, while the secondary colors, black (#000000) and white (#FFFFFF), add contrast and clarity. Together, these colors ensure a modern, clean, and visually engaging aesthetic, with shades and tints offering flexibility for both bold and subtle design elements.
The wireframes provided a foundation for the redesign, focusing on simplicity, scalability, and functionality. Navigation was streamlined with a prominent top bar for quick access to key sections like the dashboard and live feed. Modular content blocks were used to organize trading tools, educational resources, and interactive features like charts and real-time data, ensuring a clear and intuitive structure.
