-Authors and publishers often struggle with the gap between a visually designed book and a technically acceptable publishing file. KDP and IngramSpark require careful attention to trim size, bleed, margins, spine width, barcode placement, cover alignment, and interior formatting. A book may look attractive on screen but still fail upload checks if technical specifications are missed. The challenge was to create designs that look professional while also meeting print-ready publishing standards.
The design approach combines creative book styling with production-focused formatting. The workbook design uses structured pages, clear headings, soft purple accents, worksheet boxes, checklists, and guided prompts to support usability. The fiction book design uses manuscript-style interior formatting, clean reading pages, copyright and ISBN details, and wraparound cover setup with back cover copy, spine text, barcode area, and safe margin planning. Each file is prepared with KDP and IngramSpark requirements in mind to reduce publishing issues.
